Lachlan Toll
MMus (Music Therapy)
Lachlan Toll is a Registered Music Therapist who is passionate about using music to support connection, communication, and wellbeing. He
works with children and adults across a range of settings, including aged care, disability, education, and palliative care, supporting
individuals with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and stroke, developmental differences such as Autism, and complex
health needs. Lachlan takes a person-centred approach, tailoring each session to the individual’s goals, interests, and strengths to
create meaningful and engaging therapeutic experiences.
Lachlan completed a Master of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne, following a Bachelor of Music Production at Collarts, and his secondary education at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. He currently works as a Music Therapist at Abberfield Aged Care Facility and has experience delivering therapy in the home, community, clinic, and inpatient environments. He also has a strong interest in supporting young people’s mental health through creative music-making, including music production using platforms such as Ableton Live and GarageBand. A skilled multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, bass, and voice), Lachlan brings a flexible and responsive approach to his work, using improvisation and a broad musical repertoire to connect with clients of all ages.
