Emerald is a Speech Pathologist with over 10 years' experience supporting adults with communication and swallowing difficulties. She has worked extensively across the public health sector in Victoria and the NHS in London, UK. Before joining Kirsten Toll & Associates, Emerald was a Senior Speech Pathologist at Alfred Health, and she continues to work part-time in the public sector alongside her private practice role.

Her experience spans the continuum of care from acute hospital settings to rehabilitation, with a focus over the past three years on community rehabilitation and the management of aphasia, swallowing, and communication disorders. Emerald has a particular interest in progressive neurological conditions and aphasia and is committed to person-centred, evidence-based intervention. Emerald is a certified SPEAK OUT!® provider and she values working collaboratively with clients, their families, and support networks, finding creative and practical ways to manage or improve communication and swallowing changes.

Outside of work, Emerald enjoys spending time with her Bernedoodle, exploring nature on weekend trips, and discovering new local restaurants and cafés.
